BA suspends all flights to Pakistan
Airline grounds planes indefinitely after bomb attack on Islamabad hotel that left 53 people dead

British Airways today suspended all flights to Pakistan indefinitely following the suicide bomb attack on the Marriott hotel in Islamabad.Saturday's bomb attack left more than 53 people dead and injured around 250, including six British citizens.
BA normally operates six flights a week between London and Pakistan's capital. The airline announced yesterday it had cancelled two of its Islamabad flights.
Today, the airline said flights would be suspended indefinitely because of the turmoil in Pakistan.
A BA spokesman said: "We will not compromise on the safety of our customers, staff or planes."
