His Highness Suleman Daud Khan, the Khan of Kalat, is in Washington DC to draw the world attention to the massive human rights violations and atrocities perpetrated against Baluch by Iran and Pakistan, which are the world’s two main state-sponsors of Shiite and Sunni terrorism, respectively. As the 36th Khanate of Baluch nation, HH Khan of Kalat has chosen self-exile to bring the plight of his people to the world attention and to attract international support for the Baluch nation to exercise its legitimate right to self-determination and independence.

 With a population of more than 30 million, it is the aspiration of every Baluch to live in peace with their neighbors in an independent, united, and democratic Baluchistan ready to join the community of nation.

As the symbol of Baluch unity, HH Suleman Daud khan has been received very warmly by the members of the US Congress, by the American people, and by the US media.

The Baluch community in the US held a royal reception honoring khan of Kalat on January 25, 2020. He informed the Baluch community of very significant progress and major strides in highlighting and presenting the Baluch case to the American people. He also responded to questions from members of the Baloch community in the US. There was a lively and inspiring exchange of ideas between the Khan and his compatriots lasting several hours. The solidarity displayed by members of the Baluch community in receiving Khan of Kalat reflects the unity of the Baluch nation for freedom and independence.

Khan of Kalat urged each member of the Baloch community to play an active role and to strengthen their solidarity until our beloved homeland is liberated. He also reminded his compatriots that in spite of major progress achieved thus far, there are major hurdles confronting the Baluch nation particularly two despotic and ruthless enemies namely Iran’s clerical dictatorship and Pakistan’s Army-run state. Khan of Kalat concluded that for the first time he feels that independence is within reach. The Baluch national unity for liberation and the growing attention of the great Powers to the issue of Baluchistan are crucial factors ensuring the independence of Baluchistan. The Baluch nation will never rest until the occupiers are expelled and the Baluch territorial integrity and the Baluch honor is restored.

His Highness Suleman Daud Khan’s visit is a historical event symbolizing the growing international recognition of Baluch struggle and its aspiration for self-determination under international law.
