Baluch Martyrs Day
13th November 2015
In the era of religious fundamentalists uprising in the world in general and
Middle East, south Asian in particular the Baluch Nation in its claim to the
national liberation has asserted its priority over other forms.
It is the Baluch national liberation based on democratic universal human values that the Nation asserted its priority
not religion, tribalism, or social class. The Baluch could have not sustained
the claim to national liberation without the sacrifices from many who were volunteered
to pay ultimate prices for the country and fellow countrymen and women.
The Baluchistan is the common possession all Baluch share. Baluchistan is
mine and yours, even if other have bought land or cultivated her fields. Baluchistan
is defined by physical geography but it is not mute; Baluchistan is gifted with
personalities and moral characters which completes and sustains personal characters
and moral characters of the nation.
The Baluch nation has seen many triumphs and tragedies victories and
betrayals. Because the Baluch has
struggled to gain possession of the land which rightfully belongs to the Baluch,
or to keep it from those who are grab it. Our story today is story of the Baluch
national liberation from the Shiite Persian and colonial Pakistan’s
occupations.
We are gathered here to celebrate the achievements of those heroes and those unknown heroes, who performed heroic acts on behalf of the Nation which
their sacrifices have inspired the living.
We reiterate that the Baluch are all equal, in the life and death. We values the sacrifices made by all martyrs equally regardless of their social background. The affairs
of Baluchistan are not (as conceived) the responsibility and privilege of
tribal chiefs and elites, but business of the mass population.
The Baluch liberation movements is a democratic movement. It can provide form
in which the doctrine of popular sovereignty could be practiced.
Mehrab. D. Sarjov a Baluch political activist based in London strive for an
