Today we are living in a world where the idea of human equality is unquestioned. International law has had little impact on the people's everyday life in Baluchistan. The change has come from people's consciousness.
The Baluch people demand equality as individuals as well as a nation. The Baluch believe that they are entitled to national self-determination and entitled to establish their independent state now, not in some centuries in the future.
Monarchist, pro-regime, Pro-Federalist ethnic groups claim Their rights on the past loyalties, Persian generosity, but not on human rights and equality.
The Baluch do not believe in an old hierarchy system, and they are not asking for charity from anyone. The Baluch have a powerful sense of entitlement to form a Nation-state.
Of course, there is no consensus among The Baluch elites on what they want and what equality means.
We believe that the Baluch is a nation, and it is entitled to a State nation. Equality for Baluch means equal to other Nations. Claim to the Basic human right is not favor or charity; it is a fundamental right.
Historical inequality, Persian privileges, language, culture, Persian interests over other groups will not change much under Iran-federal. The Baluch will continuously be subject to assimilation or exclusion. The Persian has embedded hierarchy system in the education system, school history books, policies, institutions, state symbols, media, division of power, and election system.
The consolidation of democracy limits the ability of elites in Tehran to crush the Baluch movement for an independent Baluchistan. For many years the governments have banned ethnic politics in Iran and pay thugs (tribal chiefs, Mullahs, minority leaders to kill the minority political activists and bribed the Baluch educated elites).
. The Baluch leadership must identify the manifestation of these historical hierarchies and expose the Persian.
