Global talk; south Asia Economic strategies and human rights,

The United Nations/ Human rights council/ 29th session. Side event on 19 June.
A good government objective is to serve communities need within its state boundary, and to provide security, upkeep of roads, job opportunities, policing but such policies must serve the needs and the interest of all communities.

Pakistan is not ruled by the principle of “rule of law”, the state is ruled by the principles of the Islamist right wing fascist groups at best and feudal traditionalist and rough army generals at worse.

The Islamist fascist and Army general do not tolerate those who have shown little sympathy with the families of the Baluch forced disappearance persons in Baluchistan.

The army Generals and right wing Islamist fascist disproved Hamid Mir Geo T.V anchor he was shot by the Pakistan’s intelligence service (ISI) according to Meer brother statement. He was lucky he survived. The Sabeen Mahmud was not lucky she was pronounced dead on spot. both raised the Issue of the Baluch missing persons.

The army Generals are the ultimate law by themselves, the state parliaments have given power to army to become judges, jury and persecutors.

Pakistan has failed to recognise the principle of rule of law, equality, respect for property right and freedom, the rights wing Islamist, the army General and feudal have no respect for the dignity of the individual.

All States monopolise violence but in Pakistan the exercise of the state violence against the Baluch is unconstrained and unpredictable.  The state authorities use violence to secure obedience. 18000 are missing and 1800 have been killed by the state security forces since 2010.

In 2000 The Pakistan army started an aggressive war against the Marri and Bughti tribes and later expanded it to all over the Baluch territory. The Marri and Bughti tribal land is cursed with oil, gas, coal and other mineral resources.

They have been dislocated from their ancestral land in order to make way for oil and gas exploration in their land against their will.

Those who stand for their rights against forced removal are targeted and eliminated by state security forces. The state is committing a systematic genocide in Baluchistan while the international community watches passively. The international and intergovernmental organisations are morally responsible to investigate and stop genocide in Baluchistan.

The Chinese economic and military expansion in Pakistan for Baluch like Salem Mussa means not only loss of jobs and homes, he will lose his identity for ever and the Baluch in Baluchistan fear future.
Mehrab. Sarjov is a political activist based in London strive for independent Baluchistan.
