The Baluch Martyrs Remembrance Day 2014

Baluch martyrs are present among us. Today is a day the Baluch  remember and honour the martyrs’ memory and to renew its commitment to the Baluch national liberation cause.

A society is held together by sacrifices selfless men and women make. In order to defend the Baluch values and dignity some people we knew and the many in the past have laid down their lives. They paid the ultimate price and went to join the ancestral heroes and become immortal martyrs worthy of worship.
On this special occasion I criticise my fellow activists including myself,
Some among the activists have been involved in delegitimising a part of the Baluch national liberation leadership in favour of another leader which isn’t a clever idea.  There is no way one could demonise a Baluch nationalist leader without demonising all Baluch struggle. It is normal and democratic to question a leader.
No one is perfect. Rhetorical chanting is not debate but a way to avoid a healthy debate, the rhetoric makers’ purpose is not to describe what is there but to call what is not there; and to dismantle the struggle for national liberation that martyrs have irrigated by their blood.

The Baluch should know that they cannot solve their differences on social media. The Baluch would succeed to complete the martyr’s tasks if they think of each other positively; the Baluch would fail the martyrs if they think negative.

The Baluch nation is bound together by share identities and will to live together the Baluch nation sustained by the myths and rituals devoted to the idea of the nation. The common sense of the absolute sacrifices still exists among the Baluch.

The Baluch national liberation Martyrs were individuals’ someone son, daughter’s belong to a tribe, and political organisation. But because they sacrifice their lives for national liberation therefore they are transformed from individuals to nation heroes and belong to the nation and they become holly and celebrated by the Nation.
