Saindak Copper and Gold mine is located near Saindak a town in Chagi District Baluchistan. It has been said by Pakistani that the discovery of gold and copper was made in the 1970 in collaboration with Chinese engineering firm.

In 2002 the Pakistan government outsourced Saindak gold and copper to Metallurgic copper of china limited under 10 year lease, which was expired in 2012 and the lease was extended for another five years till October 2017. There is no independent mentoring the mine. No one in Baluchistan is sure how the loots from Saindak are divided between China and Pakistan.
